Scheidt & Bachmann Fare Collection Systems has chosen Transaction Network Services (花季传媒) to provide payment gateway services for approximately 4,000 ticket vending machines (TVMs), which serve the UK and Ireland鈥檚 transport networks and handle over 90 million transactions per year.听听
The service, which went live in August, saw hundreds of TVMs migrated each day across a twelve-week period, with millions of transactions having already been successfully processed through 花季传媒鈥 cloud-native payment platform utilizing the 花季传媒Pay Gateway.听听
The TVMs are mission-critical infrastructure for the UK and Ireland鈥檚 transport networks, providing ticketing services for most of the largest operators including, in the UK, Govia Thameslink Railway, Great Western Railway, Transport for Wales, Nexus, Transport for Greater Manchester, and Scotrail, and, in Ireland, Irish Rail and Luas.听听
